The Amazing Spiderman

After waiting in the line as the first person in the queue, got the tickets for the movie at Liberty Lite.  Although the space in the theater was very cozy, the film distracted the discomfort.

Marvel is doing a great job in taking superhero movies, Thor, Captain America, Iron Man and Avengers. The cast of the movie was good. Andrew Garfield portraying Peter Parker, looks like a grown up version of Freddie Highmore. And both of them are British. He is very much different from the Tobey Maguire, who portrayed the character in previous trilogy.

Emma Stone was just awesome, as she did in Easy A and The Help. She portrays the character of Gwen Stacey. It's kind of interesting that the girlfriend is revealed the double identity of the hero early in the story, unlike the other superhero movies and the previous trilogy.

Director Marc Webb does a good job, in creating a good romantic storyline while including a lot of action sequences. The dialogues were pretty good. My favourite lines would be,

"Secrets have a cost. They're not free. Not now, not ever."

"We all have secrets: the ones we keep... and the ones that are kept from us."

Watching the film in 3D again, made me realize that there is not much 3D effects in the film. Just in few swinging sequences we can see it.
