The end of the beginning: First year at the medical faculty
As first year for us at the University of Colombo, Faculty of Medicine is ending, everyone in the batch are acting in different ways. Some people are not coming to the faculty preparing for the exams. Some people are coming to the faculty taking photos of their last days as the first year students and the places where we studied, suffered, and enjoyed. But I would say this would be a nice time to reflect back how we have changed over this past 10 months of so called first year. Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo When I first came to the faculty I despised learning medicine and practically hated it. Now I am cooperating with it. I won't say that I love studying medicine. But now I don't really hate it. And also enjoy some of parts of the lesson I study. I don't know the real reason for this but I think most of it is due to my friends. So to all my friends, who are not letting themselves enjoy these last days as the first year students.
